FIRE CODE INSPECTION(S) REQUIRED PRIOR TO INITIAL USE OR OPERATION. The initial use or operation shall not be conducted until appropriate inspections or tests have been performed and approved. A FIRE CODE PERMIT MUST BE ISSUED AND POSTED PRIOR TO OCCUPANCY OR OPERATION. The original Fire Code Permit placard must be posted in a conspicuous place on the premises, or in an area where all permits and certificates of occupancy are posted, visible and available to the Fire Code Official during inspection.

THE FIRE CODE PERMIT IS FOR A SINGLE USE. The Fire Code Permit is for a single use or operation and expires upon the completion of such use or operation.

CONTINUED USE AND OPERATION. Following initial approval, continued use and operation is subject to the Kitsap County Fire Marshal's Commercial Inspection Program, pursuant to RCW 36.43.030 and Kitsap County Code, Chapter 14.08.040. Periodic inspections will be conducted to ensure continued compliance with code requirements. Failure to allow an inspection will result in immediate revocation of the permit.

SCOPE. Approval and issuance of the permit is limited to the use and operation on the permit. The use or operation may not be expanded or changed without further application review and approval.

EXPIRATION
An operational permit shall remain in effect until reissued, renewed or revoked or for such a period of time as specified on the permit.
Construction permits shall automatically become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work commenced.

REVOCATION. The Fire Marshal shall revoke a permit issued under the provisions of the International Fire Code when it is found by inspection or otherwise that there has been a false statement or misrepresentaion as to the material facts in the application or construction documents. The permit shall only be used for the location or establishment that for which it was issued. The permit is used for a condition or activity other than that listed on the permit. The permit is used by a different person or firm other than the name for which it was issued. Conditions and limitations set forth in the permit have been violated.
