Thank you for applying online for a Demo Permit with Kitsap County! A permit technician has reviewed your permit submittal. In order for your permit to be deemed ready for review: 1. Log in here: Online Permit Center Find Your Permit: Click Applications, then click My Applications, then click on hyper linked permit number. 2. Scroll down to the Submittals section, then please upload: o Letter of Authorization The listed Authorized Agent is differs from who is listed on the Permit. Please have the authorized agent form updated to show the correct Authorized Agent who applied for the Permit. An owners signature is required to be obtained before your permit can be placed under review. Complete the Letter of Authorization form and upload. Please name files simply and accurately, indicating what the item is in the file name. Example: Site Plan, Construction Plans, Floor Plan. Once we have the above information, a permit technician will process your uploads and notify you when the permit is ready to receive payment. ACTION NEEDED: Thank you for applying for a Residential Demolition permit with Kitsap County! A permit technician has reviewed your permit submittal. In order for your permit to be deemed ready for review: 1. Log in here: Online Permit Center To Find Your Permit: Click My Portal, then click My Applications, then click on hyper linked permit number 2. Scroll down to the Submittals section, then please upload: A completed Required Permit Questionnaire Demolition and/or Removal of Structure - Residential save as a pdf file and upload to the permit. As you complete this form, a list of required submittal items will appear. These items will also need to be uploaded to the permit. Letter of Authorization filled out and signed by the property owner, as well as the owner of the manufactured home, giving permission to the contractor who will demo and dispose this structure. Please include Property Owners phone number and email address. Treasurer's Tax Certification - For more information to obtain a Treasurer's Tax Certification, please call (360) 337-7135 or email treasurer@co.kitsap.wa.us Please provide detailed owner information and parcel # associated with the manufactured home to be demod Sewer Disconnection (or plug) letter or permit from the sewer service provider if served by sewer. Letter needs to indicate that sewer has been properly plugged. Site Plan, showing: (for your convenience, I have attached the full parcel site plan.please circle Space/Lot #80) o Label structure to be demolished Please name files simply and accurately, indicating what the item is in the file name. The conditions listed below are standard for all permits of this type and may not apply to your specific permit. Once your permit is issued, all conditions listed are applicable to your permit.

This building permit is for the construction of a project that must satisfy the criteria for over the counter issuance. This building permit is limited to the identified scope and has been approved for issuance based on how the scope was represented to Kitsap County. Approval for issuance of this permit is granted without the benefit of construction document review and without detailed plans and specifications. LIMITED SCOPE OF BUILDING PERMIT. Over the counter building permits are strictly limited to the scope of work as identified within the permit application. No additional work, remodeling or expansion beyond the identified scope is authorized. Any changes in the scope of work will require additional review and/or additional permits. FIELD CORRECTIONS AS REQUIRED: The construction of the permitted project is subject to inspections by the Kitsap County Department of Community Development. Though no review has occurred, it remains imperative that all construction be done in full compliance with Kitsap County Code (KCC), including the Kitsap County Building & Fire Code as adopted in KCC 14.04.040, along with all of the codes adopted by reference therein. Any corrections, changes or alterations required by a Kitsap County Building or Fire Inspector shall be made prior to requesting additional inspections.  (view notes)  
Permit Expiration: Building permits expire 365 days after permit issuance, or 180 days after the last approved inspection activity is performed. The Building Official may extend the time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control of the permit holder have prevented action from being taken. Final Inspection Required: All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the Kitsap County Department of Community Development prior to permit expiration. The failure to request a final inspection or failure to obtain final approval prior to expiration will be documented in the legal property records on file with Kitsap County as being non-compliant with Kitsap County ordinances and building regulations and will be referred to Kitsap County Code Compliance for action.  (view notes)

All demolition debris shall be properly transported to and disposed of within an approved solid waste facility. The property shall be left in a clean, safe condition, protected from erosion. Any demolition work that does not remove the entire structure, shall be performed such that no structural member remains undermined or left in any position or situation that could cause harm to any person or property. The inspections listed below are standard for all permits of this type and may not apply to your specific permit. Once your permit has been issued, all inspections listed are applicable to your permit. Note: Community Development Building Final Inspections (B-Final), Commercial CO Inspection Fire Marshal (FM-CO-Final) and the Final Field Inspections (DE-FFI) are not eligible for next day inspection requests. Please allow two business days when requesting a Final inspection. Reminder: All pets, regardless of size, must be housed or kenneled for any site visit or inspection. Free-roaming dogs or dogs on leads or leashes are not acceptable. Interior inspections, or visits, require dogs to be contained outside or behind closed doors in a separate room. We are not able to accommodate any exceptions to this request. A re-inspection fee may be applied if we need to reschedule your inspection because your pets are not contained.
